d'Urville Abalone New Zealand Ltd is a family owned and operated company specialising in the sustainable farming and supply of cocktail size abalone.

Our aim is to provide a unique food product to those people who are striving to give their clients, guests or patrons an unforgettable dining experience.

Our land based aquaculture facility on d'Urville Island is the result of three years research, development and kiwi ingenuity.

We pride ourselves on running a minimalist and sustainable operation where the health, hygiene and food requirements of our stock are paramount.

We operate under a Ministry of Fisheries Licence (FW158) which means that we can legally harvest our farmed abalone when they are much smaller than what is permitted to take from the wild, initiating a taste phenomenon like none other.
